John serves as Senior Software Engineer at BrookHaven, where he architects and builds the majority of the firm’s technology and digital products — from the client-facing platforms that connect BrookHaven’s clients with their integrated wealth, tax, and legal teams, to the internal systems that keep the firm’s "One Place. One Plan. One Team." approach running seamlessly behind the scenes. Before joining BrookHaven, John spent two years at Intuit — the company behind TurboTax and QuickBooks — where he was promoted to Senior Software Engineer. His time at Intuit immersed him in the world of tax technology at massive scale, giving him firsthand expertise in how tax software is built, where it falls short, and what it takes to deliver financial tools that millions of people trust. That experience is precisely what he brings to BrookHaven: a deep understanding of tax and financial technology, applied to a firm where tax planning isn’t a once-a-year transaction but part of an integrated, year-round strategy. Earlier in his career, John built software at Sidecar Health, a health insurance technology company, and at SOLUTE in San Diego, giving him a track record that spans finance, healthcare, and consumer-grade products. A graduate of the University of California, Irvine, John translates the complexity of integrated wealth planning into technology that feels simple, secure, and personal for every client. Outside of work, John is passionate about giving back through community service, and can often be found on the court playing badminton or pickleball.
